Today the Trump administration took aim at California, specifically, in the pro-life movement. According to the Associated Press, the move coincides with Trump’s plan to address the participants of the March for Life event being held in D.C. The federal Health and Human Services Department said it is issuing a ‘notice of violation,’ to the state of California. Today the Trump administration made a grand stride to minimize a growing problem in the United States. “Birth tourism” has become a popular notion, which has women from around the world traveling to the U.S. for the sole purpose of giving birth so their children can have United States citizenship. New visa rules were published by the Trump administration today that will restrict birth tourism. Tourist Visa applicants will be denied if they are “determined by consular officers to be coming to the U.S. primarily to give birth, according to the rules in the Federal Register” reported the Associated Press.
