On Saturday, Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo revealed on Fox News that the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where COVID-19 may have originated, “is still up and running.” “That virology lab is still up and running. It’s still probably conducting the same kinds of research it was conducting that may have well led to this virus escaping from that laboratory,” Pompeo said. Pompeo said that the lab was connected to the Chinese military, and was involved in military activity while performing other research. “What I can say for sure is this: we know that they were engaged in efforts connected to

The chief editor of China’s state-run Global Times, Hu Xijin, said that China needs to prepare for nuclear war with the United States after the U.S. ordered a 90-day investigation into whether COVID-19 was released by the Wuhan Institute of Virology. “Given the intensifying U.S. strategic containment of China, I would like to remind once again that we have many urgent tasks, but one of the most important is to keep rapidly increasing the number of nuclear warheads and strategic missiles like the Dongfeng 41 with extremely long-range and high survival capabilities,” Hu Xijin wrote in a post on Chinese

Dr. Anthony Fauci, solidifying his image as a political opportunist whose opinions are based on congruence with the media narrative rather than data, has now said he is “not convinced” that COVID-19 originated naturally – after repeatedly dismissing such claims over the past year. The statement was made in an interview published on Saturday, in which PolitiFact’s Katie Sanders asked Fauci, “There’s a lot of cloudiness around the origins of COVID-19 still, so I wanted to ask, are you still confident that it developed naturally?” “No actually,” Fauci responded. “I am not convinced about that, I think we should continue
