Democrat Senator Blocks Bill Banning Imports Made Using Slave Labor In China

December 16, 2021
International/Politics

On Wednesday, Democrat Senator Ron Wyden (OR) blocked a bipartisan bill that would have banned imports from communist China’s Xinjiang region — where China is committing genocide — that were made using slave labor. “Wyden blocked a bill that would ban goods made with forced labor in China’s Xinjiang region after Senator Marco Rubio [R-FL] rejected his request to add an unrelated extension of the child tax credit,” Bloomberg News reported. “The bill has broad bipartisan support and was on track for quick final passage by unanimous consent after having cleared the House by a voice vote.” Nike, which has lobbied Congress against

The Senate is reportedly giving up on President Biden’s Build Back Better Act until next year as negotiations have stalled with moderate Democrats, according to NBC News. “[Sen. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY)] is likely to push a vote on the Build Back Better plan until next year, according to four sources familiar with the leaders’ plans,” NBC News reporter Leigh Ann Caldwell wrote on Twitter. “He doesn’t have the votes as [Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV)] remains noncommittal,” Caldwell continued. “Schumer is still holding out hope for action on voting rights this year, multiple sources tell us. They are hoping

And why haven’t you asked China to do more, to be transparent on the origins?” As seen in the video below, Biden listened and then smiled, laughed, and walked away without answering either question: REPORTER: “800,000 coronavirus deaths — do you have a statement on your responsibility? On Tuesday, President Joe Biden dismissed questions about Americans’ concerns over COVID-19 vaccine mandates infringing on individual liberty. “Your vaccine mandates have suffered some setbacks in court recently,” WHIOTV 7 reporter John Bedell said. “Federal judges have halted three of those COVID vaccine mandates.” “Are you going to back down or are you going to continue to fight those in court?” Bedell asked. “This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Not the vaccinated, the unvaccinated. That’s the problem,” Biden said.  “Everybody talks about freedom about not to have a shot or have a test. Well guess what? How about patriotism?
