During Tuesday’s press conference, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed that President Biden had been working every day since he entered office on the economy, prompting questions about how the economy is currently entering a recession. “So you said he’s been working on the economy every day for 19 months,” a reporter said. “Now Bloomberg economists are forecasting a 100 percent chance of a recession.” “So how is it that we can be barreling towards a recession and the economy is, as the President says, ‘strong as hell’?” the reporter asked. “So here’s the thing about the economy —

On Monday, Pennsylvania Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman’s wife, Gisele Fetterman, demanded an apology from NBC News after a recent interview with her husband raised questions about his mental health. During an interview with NBC News reporter Dasha Burns last week, Fetterman required “unconventional” needs due to “lingering auditory processing issues” resulting from his stroke in May in order to participate in the interview. Burns told MSNBC’s Katy Tur that their new interview was “very different” than a previous one they had in May before Fetterman’s stroke. She said that

During a Tuesday interview with PennLive’s editorial board, Pennsylvania Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman falsely claimed that he has “never once advocated for legalizing” hard drugs. “I never advocated for legalizing any of these hard substances, you know, ever, you know, or any of that,” Fetterman said. “It was part of a conversation, an honest conversation. Again, taken out of X more lives. You know, about addiction. And I’ve always made the argument that we cannot arrest our way out of addiction. You know, and we can’t criminalize addiction. You know, that is a disease. And now, tens of thousands of
