On Monday, Republican Senator Tim Scott (SC) officially announced his campaign for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.  Scott’s announcement came three days after his team filed official paperwork with the Federal Election Commission (FEC), confirming his plans to run in the 2024 presidential election.
