NPR: 2020 Absentee Ballot Rejections Already ‘Far Outpacing’ 2016 Election

Ballot

Democrats and their army of the leftist media and online platform giants such as Facebook and Twitter are already preparing how to delegitimize Trump’s response to an illegitimate election. Democrats are urging voters to vote-by-mail and if Trump even utters about the potential for voter fraud, the left becomes even more ignited to defend the voting option which has been proven time and time again to be subpar.

NPR has released an analysis that demonstrates “an extraordinarily high number of ballots – more than 550,000 – have been rejected in this year’s presidential primaries.” That is significantly more than the “318,728 ballots rejected in the 2016 general election and has raised alarms about what might happen in November when tens of millions of more voters are expected to cast their ballots by mail, many for the first time.”

Still don’t see a problem, Democrats? Even if the ballot is filled out and mailed in a timely manner, there is no guarantee. The majority of the rejected ballots occur “because required signatures are missing or don’t match the one on record, or because the ballot arrives too late” reported NPR. Additionally, NPR notes that the numbers reported are “almost certainly an underestimate since not all states have made the information on rejected mail-in-ballots available.”

Further focused data find “tens of thousands of ballots have been rejected in key battleground states” and that “studies also show that voters of color and young voters are more likely than others to have their ballots not count” according to NPR. Rob Griffin of the Democracy Fund, which is conducting a sweeping survey of the 2020 electorate with researchers at UCLA stated, “if something goes wrong with any of this, that’s a problem writ large, but it’s also going to be one that hits some populations of the United States a bit harder than others, potentially disenfranchises different groups of folks at higher rates.”

Yet Democrats persist to hype mail-in-voting. According to Griffin, roughly a quarter of people who voted in person in the last election will vote by mail this election. The same goes for those who have never voted before. Election experts say first-time absentee voters are much more likely to make the kinds of mistakes that lead to rejected ballots. Instead of accepting real analysis and consideration for a fair election, Democrats have another agenda; “we will fervently fight against whatever Trump says.”
