New York Times Journo to MSNBC: American Flag Equals White Supremacy

//

So there is New York Times editorial board member Mara Gay on MSNBC, and, as headlined here at Fox, she says this:

NYT, MSNBC’s Mara Gay: ‘Disturbing’ to see ‘dozens of American flags’ on trucks in Long Island
New York Times board member: There needs to be a conversation about ‘Whiteness’

The story quotes Gay as saying:

“I was on Long Island this weekend visiting a really dear friend, and I was really disturbed. I saw, you know, dozens and dozens of pickup trucks with explicatives [sic] against Joe Biden on the back of them, Trump flags, and in some cases just dozens of American flags, which is also just disturbing … Essentially the message was clear. This is my country. This is not your country. I own this.

The reality is here that we have a large percentage of the American population — I don’t know how big it is, but we have tens of millions of Trump voters who continue to believe that their rights as citizens are under threat by simple virtue of having to share the democracy with others. I think that as long as they see Americanness as the same as one with Whiteness, this is going to continue.”

Got all that? If you have the nerve – the gall! – to fly an American flag…you are a white supremacist.

Let’s be blunt. This is standard left-wing propaganda. It is what the Democratic Party is all about – racial supremacy.

Recall the record, however unhelpful the Left finds that record. From its founding by slave owners and its support of slavery, and on to its staunch support for segregation, Jim Crow laws and now identity politics – aka the son of segregation – race and judging all Americans by race is at the very heart of left-wing political culture.

All of this explains why leftist Times editorialist Mara Gay looks at a parade of Americans flying American flags and judges them all by skin color. Without the slightest self-awareness that the one who judges by race is not those flying the American flag….it’s her.

Shocking. Not.
