Nothing gets past the eagle-eyed world of social media. Users noticed the House Speaker has a very special outfit she wears while attending to her favorite task, impeaching President Trump. Comically referred to as ‘Pelosi’s Impeachment Dress’ viewers noticed the House Speaker has donned the same black dress when attempting to oust the President.

December 18, 2019 “Pelosi put on the same black suit with three-quarter sleeves and collar necklace for both occasions. This news was reported by MSNBC and confirmed by the speaker’s office” reports the Daily Beast.

In 2019 Pelosi went after Trump for “abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.” Round two, on January 13, 2021, Pelosi gave “incitement of insurrection” ago. In 2019 Pelosi said her impeachment attempt was “no cause for joy. This is a sad time for our country.” So, it must be her power, yet mourning suit.

Well, the impeachment, mourning combo outfit made its comeback this week as Pelosi said of Trump, “He must go. He is a clear and present danger to the nation that we all love.” The Daily Beast also noted Pelosi’s accessories must not be overlooked. In 2019, Pelosi’s red MaxMara coat and Armani sunglasses stole the show when meeting with Trump to discuss the potential government shutdown.

Accessorizing with 2019’s impeachment look was a large gilded pin on her left shoulder. It is a miniaturized version of the House of Representatives’ mace which “symbolizes order and authority” according to the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center. Alas, 2021’s impeachment outfit could not include the overbearing pin as it would have clashed with the ever-popular face mask.
