Amazon Places ‘ZenBooth’ Apparatus for Stressed-Out Warehouse Workers

If people are being forced to go back to work, Amazon thinks they should get a place to quite literally Zen-out. Called the “Amazen,” the company Tweeted about the contraption on their @Amazonnews handle stating, “Amazon’s Leila Brown used her background in sports medicine and her passion in alternative therapies to create a space where our employees could focus on their mental well-being.”

In the video, the small free-standing kiosk is demonstrated as Leila Brown explains it’s a place for employees to find a place “that’s quiet, that people could go and focus on their mental and emotional well-being.”

“The ZenBooth is part of Amazon’s recently-announced WorkingWell Program, which aims to reduce workplace injuries by letting employees ‘recharge and reenergize’ with a series of ‘physical and mental activities, wellness exercises, and healthy eating support” reports the Daily Dot.

Amazon has repeatedly come under fire for its working conditions, reports Daily Dot, such as drivers urinating in bottles and warehouse workers getting injured. The interactive kiosk involves a library of mindful practices to recharge.
