Why Is Joe Scarborough So Stupid?

Joe Scarborough

Ya can’t make it up.  Here is MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough as headlined at Mediaite:

Joe Scarborough Ridicules Pro-Trump Media: If You’re Being a Hack for Trump on Coronavirus ‘You’re Stupid’

Notice? This is coming from the same Joe Scarborough who said this:

“The fact is everybody saw this coming. Everybody saw this coming in early January.”

Really?

As I have noted over at NewsBusters, here is a (partial) list of nothing-to-see-here-move-along-you racists mainstream Trump-hating media and what they have reported and when.

From Vox on January 31st: “Is this [coronavirus] going to be a deadly pandemic? No.”

From The Washington Post on February 1st: “Get a grippe, America. The flu is a much bigger threat than coronavirus, for now.”

From The Washington Post on February 3rd: “Why we should be wary of an aggressive government response to coronavirus. Harsh measures tend to scapegoat already marginalized populations.”

The essence? The Trump-China travel ban is racist.

From The New York Times on February 5th: “Who Says It’s Not Safe to Travel to China? The coronavirus travel ban is unjust and doesn’t work anyway.” Yes indeed, this is The Times version of “the travel ban is racist.”

From CNN on February 7th: “The US coronavirus travel ban could backfire. Here’s how.”

From CNN on February 21st: “What’s spreading faster than coronavirus in the US? Racist assaults and ignorant attacks against Asians.”

On and on I could go with this. So much for Morning Joe’s assertion that:

“The fact is everybody saw this coming. Everybody saw this coming in early January.”

Saying this is false. Demonstrably, provably false.

To say it that it’s true? That would be stupid, Joe.
