The liberal hosts of the daytime talk show “The View” take any opportunity to try and trump a Trump, and this week Joy Behar failed miserably. Instead of expressing even an ounce of enthusiasm or praise after the White House announced a vaccine for COVID-19 could come before the November elections, Behar retreated to liberal tactics.
More concerned with politics than the health of the nation and a solution to the plummeting of global wellbeing, Behar said of Trump, “He will push anything to get re-elected. Don’t fall for it.” She then smugly added, “And by the way, I will take the vaccine after Ivanka takes it.”
Always the class act, Ivanka Trump responded flawlessly. Tweeting a Fox News article about Joy Behar’s comments, Ivanka wrote:
Deal @JoyVBehar. I would come on your show to do so.
I trust the FDA and so should all Americans. Vanquishing this virus should be our collective top priority. https://t.co/FXb0Dqjdio

In a press conference Monday, President Trump touted his administration’s “Operation Warp Speed” program, a public-private partnership, and said a vaccine could be available as early as October, promising it would be “very safe and effective.” “We are an absolute leader in every way” added Trump. “Under my leadership, we’ll produce a vaccine in record time.”
Trump’s remarks sparked discussion by the ladies of “The View.” Behar expressed her (un)professional medical opinion: “As far as the vaccine is concerned, I’d like to inform America, in case we don’t know this because I looked all this up for you, the mumps vaccine took for years, the polio vaccine took 20 years and the smallpox vaccine took a few centuries.”
Thank you, Doctor Behar. “It was developed initially in 1796” she said of the smallpox vaccine. “And it became useful in the 1950s. OK? It’s not a simple thing to do. He will push anything to get reelected. Don’t fall for it.” On the contrary, liberals will say anything to not get Trump reelected. Don’t fall for it.
