First it was $12 dollar a pint ice cream hoarded in her $20,000 freezer. Not to be forgotten is when she called a $1000 tax cut for Americans “crumbs.”
And who can forget her February invitation for Americans? “Come to Chinatown, we are careful safe, and come join us.” This as the virus descended.
And now she gives yet another gift to President Trump and Republicans. Here’s the headline at Fox:
Pelosi used shuttered San Francisco hair salon for blow-out, owner calls it ‘slap in the face’
‘We have been shut down for so long,’ owner says
The Fox exclusive said this:
“EXCLUSIVE: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited a San Francisco hair salon on Monday afternoon for a wash and blow-out, despite local ordinances keeping salons closed amid the coronavirus pandemic, Fox News has learned.
In security footage obtained by Fox News, and timestamped Monday at 3:08 p.m. Pacific Time, the California powerhouse is seen walking through ESalonSF in San Francisco with wet hair, and without a mask over her mouth or nose.”
Ya can’t make this stuff up. And two more months of this to go.
A more perfect image of the elitist contempt Pelosi and other Swamp dwellers have for Americans would be hard to find.
The video instantly went viral in the world of conservative media. Tucker Carlson instantly had the video on his show. The headline:
Tucker Carlson blasts Pelosi over visit to shuttered San Francisco hair salon
‘She ripped science apart like a State of the Union address,’ Fox News host says
Tucker described the video.
“ ‘She has wet hair, she is not wearing a mask, but she was indoors,’ said the ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ host, describing security footage of Pelosi’s visit that was obtained by Fox News. ‘She was almost alone, because due to coronavirus regulations, salons in San Francisco are closed to services.’
Carlson continued, ‘Nancy Pelosi went inside. She can do that because she is the Speaker of the House, third in line to the presidency. You cannot because you don’t have as much power as Nancy Pelosi.’”
As all of this astonishing-but-not-surprising let-them-eat-cake episode from Speaker Nancy Antoinette settled in, Speaker Antoinette kept digging the hole she was in, saying:
“I take responsibility for falling for a setup….The salon owes me an apology for setting me up.”
Say what? She’s saying someone at the salon picked up the phone and called her with an invitation to come in and get her hair done so they could video her violating the San Francisco ordinance and send the video to Fox News? Really? Really?
In the real world this text message from the stylist is now out there:
“Pelosi assistant just messaged me to do her hair.”
Thus, caught redhanded, Pelosi, per usual tried to lie her way out it.
The simple and vividly plain fact here is that one liberal after another has been caught in similar circumstances. Philadelphia’s Democratic Mayor Jim Kenney was photographed having dinner indoors at a restaurant in Maryland – when Philadelphians are banned from doing so in the city he serves as mayor. The Fox headline:
Philly mayor apologizes after photo shows him dining indoors in Maryland, despite restrictions in home city
The story said:
“The photo in question was shared by Philadelphia restaurateur Marc Vetri on Instagram Sunday. Vetri appeared to be a vocal critic of the city’s ban on indoor dining, which is set to be lifted on Sept. 8 — with certain restrictions still in place.
‘Glad you’re enjoying indoor dining with no social distancing or mask-wearing in Maryland tonight while restaurants here in Philly close, suffer, and fight for every nickel just to survive,’ Vetri wrote in the post. ‘I guess all your press briefings and your narrative of unsafe indoor dining don’t apply to you. Thank you for clearing it all up for us tonight.’
When announcing that indoor dining in Philadelphia would resume at 25 percent capacity — with tables allowing a maximum number of four seats on that September date — Kenney pleaded with residents to follow the rules, in the hope of limiting the spread of the virus, according to Philadelphia’s WPVI-TV.
‘We need to follow what we are being asked to do by the health department,’ Kenney said. ‘I beg you to follow the rules.’”
Got that? “I beg you to follow the rules,” says the Mayor. And – he gets caught doing exactly what he “pleaded” with his constituents not to do.
There are other examples of this kind of thing, but the Pelosi and Kenney examples capture the problem in living color.
And boiled down to its essence, this is the problem at the very core of this election. Whether its Pelosi or Kenney or the Biden family using public office to enrich itself, all three are the embodiment of the elitist entitlement that is the Swamp.
“Rules for thee but not for me”, is the motto. Not to mention “Do as I say and not as I do.”
It took a political nano-second for President Trump to pounce on the Pelosi bombshell.
Trump slams Pelosi for visit to shuttered salon: ‘Constantly lecturing everyone else’
Indeed.
This is a serious in-kind contribution to the Trump campaign from Pelosi. One can only imagine the laughter and head-shaking rippling through the White House and the Trump campaign.
Ya can’t make this stuff up. And two more months of this to go.
Buckle in. And keep the popcorn handy.
