Drone footage captured Wednesday in Los Angeles this week shows the total devastation and ashy remains of entire neighborhoods. At least five California residents have been reported dead with more than 130,000 others under evacuation orders.

Thousands of buildings and entire blocks are gone, as five out-of-control wildfires rip through the Golden State — they are 0% contained as of Thursday morning.

Meanwhile, JP Morgan Chase estimates that more than $50 billion dollars worth of damage has been done to Los Angeles — more than double what was estimated just 24 hours ago.

The initial cause of the fire still remains unknown.

“The cause of the fire remains unknown and it continues to be under active investigation,” Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone said about the Palisades Fire. “As I stated yesterday, as soon as the cause is determined, we will provide it to the media.”
