Sen. Graham’s Poorly Timed Cough Leads To Laugher

During a Senate press conference, Senator Barrasso took the time to update the press and the public about the latest on the Coronavirus. With the confirmation of a second case in the United States being announced, and Sen. Barrasso being a physician, he told people that if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, like coughing or sneezing, to make sure you cover your face as to prevent the spreading of any illness.  Watch what happens next below:

At the moment that Sen. Barrasso finished that statement, Sen. Graham put his fist to his mouth and gave a loud cough and wave. This caused the press, as well as Sen. Barrasso, to laugh. Watch the moment above.

Sen. Barrasso: [T]his is a virus that is a respiratory-transmitted virus. Coughing, sneezing, are ways that it’s transmitted. Certainly, cover yourself if you are doing any of those things.
Sen Graham: (coughing behind him)
Press: [Laughter]
Sen. Barrasso: Additionally, wash your hands. If you are sick, stay home. If your kids are sick, don’t send them to school. We certainly don’t want transmission from person to person to person.

It is good to see that although Washington is in the middle of a partisan impeachment fight, everyone can still laugh at an unplanned hilarious moment.
