Pelosi, Schumer’s Racist Photo-Op

Pelosi Schumer

Recall in the far distant past of the last month when former Vice President Joe Biden said this to radio’s Charlamagne tha God: “…if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

As Tammy Bruce quickly noted in The Washington Times amidst the chorus of condemnation that rained down on Biden, bold print supplied for emphasis:

“That exchange, in a nutshell, illustrates the worst nightmare of the Democrats. Here you have an African-American man talking about policy for his community, the issues, and the VP pick. He wasn’t fawning over the candidate, which is what compelled Mr. Biden’s excited utterance revealing the ugly truth of the Democratic strategy: If you don’t conform, if you don’t vote as we tell you, you “ain’t black.”

This desperate claim was not aimed at Charlamagne per se, but at his listeners. It is voter intimidation of the highest order. It is also an attempt to recondition any strays into feeling that their actual identities will be destroyed if they do not toe the line and comply.”

Over at Real Clear Politics, Chicago Tribune columnist John Kass headlined it this way:  Joe Biden’s Inconvenient Democratic Truth: ‘You Ain’t Black’

Said Kass:

“The lesson from all of this is that what came from Biden’s witless lips is the Democratic Party’s most inconvenient truth:

Minorities must think and vote the way they’re told by the Democratic Party. And if they don’t, they’re demeaned, ridiculed as traitors to their race or ethnicity or their gender.”

And now comes Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and the entire Democratic leadership of the House and Senate to witlessly illustrate just how thoroughly racist this party is.

This week the Democrat leaders draped themselves with Ghana’s Kente cloth, and ostentatiously knelt in the Capitol’s Emancipation Hall. Kneeling for 8 minutes and 46 seconds, the time that police officer Derek Chauvin’s knee was on George Floyd’s neck. This as they were about introducing the “Justice in Policing Act of 2020” that outlaws chokeholds and would establish a national database to report police misconduct.

In blink, they got what they had come from “black Twitter.” Here is but one, with more reported by Breitbart:

This is too much to wake up to.

“Actually feels racist” is right. But there is a reason for this. As I have noted in my column over at The American Spectator,  the Democratic Party was built on the support of slavery, then segregation, and now identity politics – the son of slavery and grandson of slavery. Right from its beginning in 1800 the party was founded and co-founded by slave owners Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson who put the party firmly on record as using race to win elections. Nothing has changed.

There this very week was the entire Democratic leadership pandering to black Americans  – using racism – to win the next presidential election.

Increasingly, more and more black Americans are on to the game. And so too are Africans, as this powerful video from Nigerian activist Obianuju Ekeocha so vividly illustrates.

The real message to black Americans from that Pelosi/Schumer photo op?

Stay on the political plantation that was constructed for you by white liberals.

Or else, in the words of Joe Biden, “you ain’t black.”

Ugly.
