Turning Point USA announced Thursday it has “unanimously elected Erika Kirk as the new CEO and Chair of the Board” in the wake of the assassination of its founder, Charlie Kirk. “In prior discussions, Charlie expressed to multiple executives that this is what he wanted in the event of his death,” the group said in a post on X. According to Fox News, Turning Point USA has been flooded with more than 54,000 new campus chapter requests in the days since Charlie Kirk’s assassination. The organization currently runs 900 college chapters and roughly 1,200 high school groups.
