Rep. Stefanik OBLITERATES Adam Schiff to His Face

November 18, 2019
Nation/Politics

Rep. Elise Stefanik, emerged last week as a key figure on the Republican side of the House Intelligence Committee in the public impeachment hearings — and a top adversary of Adam Schiff. The 35-year-old New York lawmaker featured prominently as tensions escalated during Friday’s hearings during the questioning of former Ukraine Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch. Ranking Member Devin Nunes attempted to give up the remainder of his time to her. But as Stefanik spoke, Adam Schiff kicked his “Schiff Show” into high gear – slamming down his gavel, arguing that it was not allowed under committee rules: “The gentlewoman will suspend.”

As day two of the public impeachment hearings continue to give absolutely zero insight into whether or not an impeachable ‘quid pro quo’ occurred, Democrats now have to shift their approach. First, let’s talk about liberals’ favorite word: feelings. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) acted as though Ambassador Yovanovitch was at a therapy session, not a deposition. “Ambassador Yovanovitch, as we sit here testifying, the president is attacking you on Twitter,” said Schiff. “What effect do you think that has on other witnesses’ willingness to come forward and expose wrongdoing?” Schiff added. Despite being absolutely irrelevant to

The president, solemnly sayeth the Times, has a “weakness for ruthless authoritarians.” Well. Let’s take a stroll down memory lane, shall we? Back there in the long-ago ages of November 2017, The Times took the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution in October of 1917 to celebrate Communism in a series of articles collectively called Red

Yesterday, the Democrats of the House struck out. Their star impeachment witnesses were duds who put on public display the utter arrogance of Washington elites who believe that they and they alone run American foreign policy — and not the elected president of the United States. So what of that president? How is he doing in the middle of all of this? As it happens, after spending an hour with the president in the Oval Office, I can tell you. Let’s start here with this Washington Post story on the soon-to-be-released book from “Anonymous” — a presumed Trump administration official — with the
