A group of congressional Democrats sent a letter to President Biden urging him to include amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants in his infrastructure bill. The group of 22 Democrats, including Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Alex Padilla (D-CA), wrote that illegal immigrants “are American heroes” and, despite illegally bypassing the immigration system, “they have earned the right to become American citizens.” The letter claims that illegal immigrants employed in jobs deemed essential while millions of Americans remain unemployed from the pandemic are a “truly important part of our nation’s critical infrastructure and crucial part of the backbone of our

Both the left-wing Biden and Abrams have denounced the same Georgia voter law, in Biden’s case comparing it to Jim Crow laws.
