9 People Charged in U.S. As Being Illegal Agents of China

A group of nine people have been indicted on charges of operating as illegal agents of China in the United States. According to a Justice Department press release, the individuals allegedly “conducted surveillance of and engaged in a campaign to harass, stalk and coerce certain residents of the United States to return to the PRC as part of a global, concerted and extralegal repatriation effort known as ‘Operation Fox Hunt.” Those charged vary in gender and age, ranging from 24 to 65.
