CNN Medical Expert: It’s Time To Lift Mask Mandates

Over the weekend, CNN medical expert Dr. Leana Wen said that it is time for governments to lift mask mandates in order to “preserve public health authority for when it’s needed again.” Wen explained that she did not believe that people should stop wearing masks, but that governments needed to allow people to make decisions for themselves. Wen argued that people would be more likely to accept government-imposed restrictions again if they were first given back some of their freedom. “You say we can start removing at least some coronavirus restrictions,” CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer said. “Now, tell us why?”

More Cops Killed During Biden’s First Year In Office Than Any Year Since 1995

More police officers were killed in the line of duty during President Biden’s first year in office than any year since 1995, according to a new report from Fox News. Seventy-three officers were intentionally killed in the line of duty in 2021, a nearly 59 percent increase from 2020, when 46 cops were killed, Fox News reported. On Friday, the House passed the Democrats’ America COMPETES Act, which is supposed to help the United States compete with China in technology and manufacturing. The bill would grant $52 billion to increase semiconductor chip production in the United States and another $45 billion to support supply chains. The bill passed 222-210 with one Democrat, Rep.
