Chief Justice John Roberts has launched an investigation into the leak of the Supreme Court’s draft of the majority opinion overturning Roe v. Wade, saying that it was an “egregious breach” of the trust of the Court. In the majority opinion draft, which was leaked to Politico, Justice Samuel Alito writes that “Roe and Casey must be overruled. The Constitution makes no reference to abortion, and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision, including the one on which the defenders of Roe and Casey now chiefly rely—the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.” “Roe was egregiously wrong

The Supreme Court has voted to strike down the controversial Roe v. Wade decision, which ruled that the Constitution protects a woman’s ability to have an abortion, according to a leaked draft of the majority opinion obtained by Politico. The draft, written by Justice Samuel Alito, “is a full-throated, unflinching repudiation of the 1973 decision which guaranteed federal constitutional protections of abortion rights and a subsequent 1992 decision – Planned Parenthood v. Casey – that largely maintained the right,” Politico reported. “Deliberations on controversial cases have in the past been fluid. Justices can and sometimes do change their votes as draft

The city did not deny a single request to raise a flag until, in 2017, Harold Shurtleff,

On Friday, Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis vowed to challenge Democrat President Joe Biden’s Disinformation Governance Board, comparing it to an Orwellian “Ministry of Truth” and saying that his administration “will be fighting back.” “Clearly, our entire principles that the country was founded on you cannot have a Ministry of Truth in this country,” the Florida Republican said during a press conference on Friday. “So let’s get real here, let’s make sure we’re doing things to benefit Floridians and Americans but we’re not going to let Biden get away with this one. We will be fighting back.” DeSantis said he
