Twitter CEO Elon Musk announced on Monday that he had fired an employee at the company after the employee called him out publicly. The incident happened after Musk tweeted out an apology on Sunday for Twitter running slowly in some countries. “I’d like to apologize for Twitter being super slow in many countries,” Musk tweeted. “App is doing >1000 poorly batched RPCs just to render a home timeline!” Eric Frohnhoefer, a Twitter employee (at the time), responded to Musk, writing, “I have spent ~6yrs working on Twitter for Android and can say this is wrong.” Shortly afterwards, Musk responded directly

During a press conference on Wednesday, President Biden was asked about the Republicans potentially investigating his son Hunter if they gain control of the House over Hunter’s foreign business dealings while his father was vice president during the Obama administration. Biden responded by wishing Republicans “lots of luck,” and referred to calls for his impeachment as “almost comedy.” “Republicans have made it clear that if they do take control of the House, that they want to launch rapid investigations on day one into your handling of Afghanistan, the border; they want to look into some of your cabinet officials, they want to investigate you, they
