On Monday, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts placed a temporary hold on the termination of Title 42, a Trump-era border security policy that was set to end this week. On Wednesday, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a bill that would ban the use of TikTok on government devices amid growing concerns about the Chinese-based social media app’s threat to national security.
