On Tuesday, FBI Director Chris Wray claimed that the bureau does not engage in policing the truth on social media platforms, despite the fact that the FBI told Twitter and other social media companies to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story.  “The FBI does not, is not in the business of functioning as the truth police,” Wray claimed. “We don’t tell social media companies to censor anything or remove account information. Fox News anchor Bret Baier pushed back on the claim, pointing out information that was confirmed in the release of the Twitter Files. \“I mean, there was an FBI

The Wall Street Journal’s Wrong Attack on Newsmax Over DirecTV

Media/Nation

Who doesn’t like The Wall Street Journal? Especially its editorial and opinion pages. It is in this space a must morning read for conservatives. But every once in a while it goes off the rails, leaving one to wonder if they were written by the office intern. Or an envious competitor. The latest along these lines is an editorial about the epic battle launched by AT&T and its DirecTV subsidiary against NewsMax.  And yes, full disclosure, I am a NewsMax contributor. On Monday, the government of Communist China responded to the news that a U.S. federal agency had concluded that the COVID-19 pandemic most likely resulted from a Chinese lab leak in Wuhan, saying that “certain parties” should stop politicizing the origins of the pandemic.  During a press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said that “origins-tracing” of COVID-19 should be referred back to a March 2021 report published by China and the World Health Organization, which concluded that a lab leak was “extremely unlikely.” The report was particularly controversial over China’s lack of transparency during the research for the

A U.S. federal agency has determined that the COVID-19 pandemic most likely began as a result of a lab leak in China, according to a new report. Citing a classified intelligence report recently given to the White House, the Wall Street Journal reported that the “Energy Department has concluded that the Covid pandemic most likely arose from a laboratory leak.” “The Energy Department now joins the Federal Bureau of Investigation in saying the virus likely spread via a mishap at a Chinese laboratory,” the outlet added. “The Energy Department’s conclusion is the result of new intelligence and is significant because
