On Wednesday, Marine Sgt. Tyler Vargas-Andrews described the “catastrophic” withdrawal from Afghanistan organized by the Biden administration, saying it was a result of “an inexcusable lack of accountability and negligence.” Vargas-Andrews, who was one of the many injured in the ISIS-K suicide bombing at the Kabul airport that killed 13 U.S. service members during the withdrawal, made his comments during a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing about the Biden administration’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. “Our military members and veterans deserve our best because that is what we give to America.
