Senate Passes Massive Spending Package With Support From 18 Republicans
On Thursday, the Senate passed $1.7 trillion spending bill for fiscal year 2023 in a 68-29 vote. 18 Republicans joined the Democrats to force the controversial bill through. The bill will now be rushed to President Biden’s desk for his signature before Friday, the last day of current funding for the federal government.
