On Thursday, John Kirby, National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications, slammed a reporter with a foreign news organization after the reporter suggested that it was “harsh” for President Joe Biden to say that Palestinian officials are not credible. The incident happened during a White House press briefing after Biden was asked the previous day about claims that the Palestinians have made about the number of people who have been killed in Gaza from Israeli airstrikes. Mike Johnson (R-LA) as its 56th speaker following a weeks-long stalemate in which three Republican nominees failed to unite the party and win the vote after Rep. Pro-Hamas Activists Storm Cannon House Office Building

On Wednesday, a group of pro-Hamas activists stormed the Cannon House Office Building and refused to leave as they began chanting and demanding that Congress call for a ceasefire in Gaza.  Many of the pro-Hamas activists wore shirts that read “not in our name” on the front, and “Jews say cease fire now” on the back, as noted by The Post Millennial.
