The viral video, nearby, is from a police officer’s bodycam. The city: Columbus, Ohio.
And lo and behold what do we see? The arm of a white police officer, with a gun, shooting a black female teenager…with a knife. And what was that knife-wielding 15 year old, Makiyah Bryan by name, doing? Quite clearly she is holding that large knife and is poised to stab….what appears to be another black teenage girl.

You read that right. That white police officer appears to have saved the life of an unarmed teenage black girl who was in imminent danger of being stabbed, if not stabbed to death. The intended victim, in a pink sweatsuit, is seen struggling furiously with Bryant and attempting to get free, to run away. With the assist from the police officer, she did – and is alive to tell the tale.
But is this in the headlines? No. What is in the headlines is the same old liberal media narrative – white cop shoots and kills a black person.
Without question, the officer in question did just that. But as the video shows clearly, he did so to save the life of another teenage girl who appears to be, yes, black.
Where are the interviews with that girl? Where are the interviews with her presumably grateful parents and friends?
Not to be found. Why? Maybe because the reality of a white police officer saving the life of a black teenage girl doesn’t fit the liberal media narrative?
Shocking. Not.
