There they go again. And this time, Bo Snerdley has had enough.
In the post State of the Union speech CNN coverage, there was CNN’s Jim Acosta saying this:
“….it can’t be forgotten he was awarding the Medal of Freedom to Rush Limbaugh, who has a history of making derogatory comments about African-Americans.”
When the remark caught up to Snerdley, Snerdley had had enough. As all Rush fans know, “Bo Snerdley” is the nom de plume (radio version) of one James Golden. James has worked with Rush for thirty years. He is Rush’s senior producer. And alas for CNN and Jim Acosta, James not only has a very different view of Rush – James Golden is, yes indeed, an African-American.
Upon hearing Acosta’s remark, James promptly tweeted out this challenge to CNN:
I just saw the footage from CNN's Jim Acosta saying Rush has a "history" of saying disparaging things about African Americans. I have been in the studio with Rush for 30 years. I would like to formally challenge CNN and @Acosta
to provide the list.

James, it should be reminded, only a couple months ago announced he was founding, along with fellow black conservative Autry Pruitt, the New Journey PAC. The Washington Times reported that James and Autry in their “mission statement” had said this:
“For 80 years, the Democratic Party has taken the black vote for granted. Under the leadership of President Trump, Black-Americans enjoyed the lowest unemployment rate ever recorded. The Trump approach has produced an economy that works for all Americans, yet Democrats are promising more of the same — votes for crumbs. It is simply not enough to stand on the sidelines and hope for the best.
The concept was not to build a destination solely for black conservatives or to solely promote black conservatism, but to be a destination for all conservatives. Frankly, we founded this destination out of frustration. We are fed up with the racial narratives that the left uses to paint conservatives as bigots and racists, simply because we have a different view of public policy and politics.”
They are determined to “debunk the phony liberal narrative that Republicans, conservatives, libertarians, evangelicals and even conservative Democrats are racist.”
And right off the bat, there is CNN and Jim Acosta illustrating exactly the point – that the American Left stereotypes “conservatives as bigots and racists, simply because we have a different view of public policy and politics.” Which is exactly what CNN and Jim Acosta did to Rush.
So the challenge to CNN has been made.
Bo Snerdley is, as of this writing, waiting for a reply.
