Former Vice President Kamala Harris has signed with Creative Artists Agency — an agency that represents major Hollywood A-listers.
…and, apparently, failed politicians.
In a statement, CAA said it will represent Harris in “all areas, focusing on speaking engagements and publishing.”
“CAA will work closely with Harris on her post-White House initiatives, creating strategic platforms that expand her platform in support of the issues she has championed throughout her decades-long career in public service,” the agency said in a statement issued late Tuesday night.
The talent agency promotes itself as a creator of “limitless opportunities” for “storytellers, trendsetters, icons, and thought leaders who shape popular culture.”
Harris was previously represented by CAA when she served as a U.S. senator from California before becoming vice president.
President Biden is also a CAA client. Earlier this month, the agency announced it had signed a deal to promote and negotiate a contract for his upcoming book. CAA also represents former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama
Its Hollywood roster includes Nicole Kidman, George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, and Margot Robbie.
