On this week’s The Word of the Lord, host Jeffrey Lord discusses the horrific tragedy that is the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk — and what we can learn from history.

Lord compares the events of Kirk’s passing with the events of JFK’s assassination more than 60 years ago. Might something positive come out of something so dark and tragic?

“The legacy of the late president did not fade away because of his death,” Lord said. “To the contrary, JFK’s legacy grew and grew and grew … All over America, for decades to come, there were young Americans inspired by JFK from both political parties, plunging into politics.”

Could Kirk have a similar legacy?
