A large group of anti-Trump, pro-Palestine protesters stormed Trump Tower in New York City on Thursday afternoon to demand the release of Mahmoud Khalil — the Columbia rally ringleader arrested by ICE for circulating pro-Hamas propaganda.
Videos show a crowd of at least 100 from the pro-Palestine group Jewish Voice for Peace wearing red shirts with the message “Jews Say Stop Arming Israel.”

NYPD descended on the throng around 12:30 p.m. and started rounding up and hauling away the demonstrators, who could be seen on video being marched away in zip ties.
NYPD spokespeople said multiple people were taken into custody, but could not give an exact count. The area of Trump Tower seemed to be mostly cleared out by a little before 1 p.m..
Before the rally was broken up, the group waved signs demanding, “Fight Nazis not students,” “No Muslim Ban Ever,” and “Jews for Palestinian Freedom.”
“We are saying if you come for one of us, you face us all,” a protester said on the group’s live X feed.
The protester could also be heard on video laying out the group’s demands to “free Mahmoud and free Palestine.”
“As Jews, we refuse to be the scapegoats of fascism,” she said. “We aren’t leaving and we call on all people of consciousness to join us and refuse to comply with Trump’s regime’s attacks.”

Conservatives on X called for jailing and deporting members of the mob.
“Mahmoud Khalil supporters who took over Trump Tower in NYC are now being arrested. Deport everyone protesting who’s a foreigner. Jail the non-foreigners for years. Enough with this,” said one user.
“NYPD is now ARRESTING protestors who took over Trump Tower FAFO! DEPORT ANY ILLEGALS WITHIN THE GROUP!” said another.
State Senator Randy Fine said, “Trump Tower has been invaded by Muslim terrorists seeking the release of Muslim terrorist Mahmoud Khalil. Every non-American at this Muslim terror rally should be immediately deported to Gaza.”
Rep. Wesley Hunt said, “The left is losing their minds over a terrorist sympathizer—while staying dead silent on innocent hostages still held by Hamas.”
