Federal agents executing immigration and labor raids at two cannabis farms in Ventura County were met by hundreds of protesters Thursday, including one man who appeared to fire a gun at them.

Acting on a search warrant, agents targeted two Glass House Farms locations, licensed marijuana facilities accused of employing illegal immigrants, including children, according to Fox News.

After word spread of the raid in Camarillo, about 60 miles from Los Angeles, some 500 protesters swarmed the site, while a smaller group gathered at a second location in Carpinteria.

The standoff escalated when agents deployed smoke canisters to disperse the crowd, and a news helicopter captured the moment a man appeared to open fire.

As agents were leaving the farm with detainees, a group of protesters pelted their vehicles with rocks, smashing windows.

Speaking on Fox & Friends, Border Czar Tom Homan said the violence proves protests are spiraling out of control, especially as agents discovered 10 illegal migrant minors on-site, eight unaccompanied.

“What happened in California is just another example of protesters becoming criminals, and they’ve been emboldened by even members of Congress who compare ICE to Nazis and racists and terrorists,” Homan said on Fox & Friends Friday morning.

“I said months ago, it’s going to end up with a loss of life — and we had one the other day in Texas, and it’s not over,” he said, referencing the gunman who opened fire on border patrol agents walking into work in McAllen Monday.
