Police Respond To ‘Self-Inflicted Cutting’ Incident At Ted Cruz’s House

On Tuesday night, the Houston police and fire department responded to a “self-inflicted cutting” call at the residence of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).

The Houston Police Department (HDP) told Eyewitness News that officers were responding to reports of a 14-year-old with self-inflicted stab wounds on the arms.

The teenager was taken to the hospital, they are expected to be okay, according to police.

Police did not say whether the call involved a member of Cruz’s family, according to ABC13. Cruz has two daughters, one of whom is 14 years old.
