President Donald Trump announced Thursday that Mexico will be exempt from tariffs on goods under the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA) until April 2. Trump made the announcement on TRUTH Social: After speaking with President Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico, I have agreed that Mexico will not be required to pay Tariffs on anything that falls under the USMCA Agreement. This Agreement is until April 2nd. I did this as an accommodation, and out of respect for, President Sheinbaum. MSNBC hosts Nicolle Wallace and Rachel Maddow were excoriated on social media after criticizing President Donald Trump for acknowledging a 13-year-old cancer survivor during his address to the joint session of Congress on Tuesday night. Trump made cancer survivor Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel an honorary Secret Service agent — and that was a huge problem for the deranged leftists. “For the record – and this is disgusting – the president made a spectacle out of praising a young man who’s thus far survived pediatric cancer – as if the president had something to do with that,” Maddow said.

Multiple snap polls following President Donald Trump’s address to the joint session of Congress found that the majority of Americans approved of his remarks. According to a CNN poll, 69% of Americans who watched the address had a “very positive” or “somewhat positive” reaction to it. Broken down further, 44% of viewers said they had a “very positive” reaction to the speech, in addition to 25% who had a “somewhat positive” reaction.
