An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer fatally shot a 37-year-old woman in her vehicle during an immigration enforcement operation in southeast Minneapolis on Wednesday. The woman was obstructing an ICE operation and drove her vehicle at an officer. The shooting sparked immediate protests and sharp rebukes from city officials who described the action as “reckless” while federal authorities defended it as self-defense against an attempted vehicular assault. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem characterized the incident as “an act of domestic terrorism,” alleging the woman “attempted to run them over and rammed them with her vehicle” after blocking a roadway.

In a video uploaded to her YouTube channel on Sunday, Crockett accused President Donald Trump and GOP leaders of manipulating redistricting efforts to, as she put it, “rig the system” ahead of the crucial 2026 midterm elections.“Obviously, Trump is still doing his bidding with these state Houses and state Senates and governor’s mansions to try to rig the system,” Crockett said.

Armed motorcycle gangs loyal to Venezuela’s regime have seized control of Caracas streets, targeting citizens suspected of supporting the U.S.-led capture of Nicolás Maduro, the New York Post reports. Eyewitness accounts and videos obtained by The Post and other outlets reveal these pro-government thugs, known as Colectivos, forcing traffic to a halt during rush hour while brandishing Russian-made automatic rifles. According to four local sources contacted between Monday and Tuesday, the masked militants set up makeshift checkpoints, ordering motorists to hand over their phones and car keys for inspection. The escalating situation has left many Venezuelans fearful and uncertain about what
