President Joe Biden sure knows how to make Americans feel confident and safe when it comes to the COVID-19 vaccine; insult their intelligence. Earlier this week Biden spoke to reporters, albeit briefly, at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. One reporter asked the President if mandating the COVID vaccine for all federal employees is “under consideration.” Not answering the question at all, Biden barked, “If you’re not vaccinated, you’re not nearly as smart as I thought you were.” The Western Journal reports, “it’s worth noting that not so long ago, Biden himself had a case of vaccine hesitancy.”

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has denied requests from a state’s judge and mayor to enforce mask-wearing in schools and government buildings. The mayor of San Antonio and a county judge asked Abbott for permission via letter. The letter from Mayor Ron Nirenberg and Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff came a day after Abbott tweeted, “The time for government mask mandates is over – now is the time for personal responsibility.
