Joe Biden

During a press conference on Monday, White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was unable to name anything that President Biden’s administration was trying to do to combat the fuel crisis in the United States. “What options, besides tapping the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, does the President have to counteract higher gas prices?” A reporter asked. “You know, we have — we don’t have an announcement yet on anything — anything to share at this time,” Jean-Pierre responded. “You know, but we’re monitoring it. During an interview on Fox News, former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) responded to Rep. Cori Bush’s (D-MO) attack on Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) by saying Bush’s comments showed a “lack of a spiritual foundation.” Rep. Bush’s recently called Sen. Manchin “anti-black, anti-child, anti-woman, and anti-immigrant” for opposing Biden’s $3.5 trillion Build Back Better Act. “It really just shows again, that this is a symptom of a deeper, a lack of a spiritual foundation,” Gabbard said. “Where if you’re not able to see someone, regardless of party politics, regardless of your position, whether you agree or disagree, if you’re not able

During an interview with NBC News’ Chuck Todd on Sunday, National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Rick Scott revealed that he believes the recipe for Republicans winning back the Senate in 2022 is be to accept endorsements from former President Donald Trump, if it is offered. While Scott’s claims seem to conflict with the reality of the success of Virginia governor-elect Glenn Youngkin – who largely built success off of resisting Trump – Scott claimed that that he hopes that “Democrats continue to be obsessed with Donald Trump” since they are clearly avoiding the issues that matter most to voters. “I

Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh, the Biden administration official overseeing Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) vaccine mandate for large businesses, claimed on Thursday that the rule “isn’t a mandate.” He added that those concerned about the federal government forcing people to take a vaccine that they do not want to take should “take a deep breath” because the government just wants “to make sure they’re safe.” “Quite honestly, I think a lot of the companies already with 100 or more employees already have some type of vaccine program, and a lot of times, it’s a mandate,” Secretary Walsh said.
