November 17, 2022
International

During a press conference on Thursday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) called for an audit on the more than $60 billion in aid sent to Ukraine by the Biden administration. “Is American peoples’ taxpayer dollars going to fund aid in Ukraine, but yet it’s really funding something else that’s happening, maybe lining up Democrat donors’ pockets? Was that helping Democrat campaigns and candidates get elected?” she said. “$8.9 billion is for humanitarian assistance, including emergency food and assistance for Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees in the region and for other countries directly impacted by the conflict,” she continued. “Again, what other countries

On Wednesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) dismissed rumors that there was a “civil war brewing” between himself and former President Donald Trump (R) over the Republican party’s 2024 presidential nomination. DeSantis made the comments in response to a question during a press conference about Florida’s recovery efforts from Hurricane Ian. “We just finished this election, okay?” DeSantis said. “People just need to chill out a little bit on some of this stuff. I mean, seriously, we just ran an election. We have this Georgia runoff coming, which is very important for Republicans to win that Georgia runoff.” “I mean, I know

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, seen above last year, made the startling allegations at a press conference on April 7, 2021.

On Tuesday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) announced that he will be invoking an “invasion” clause of the U.S. and Texas Constitutions to combat President Biden’s (D) illegal immigration crisis at the U.S. southern border. The announcement comes shortly after Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported that border officials had encountered more than 230,000 migrants attempting to illegally cross the southern border last month – an all-time record for October. Additionally, CBP officials reportedly told Fox News that there were about 64,000 “gotaways” in October, meaning that more than 2,000 illegal immigrants managed to evade border patrols each day. “I invoked
