On Tuesday, President Biden promised Americans that he is going to “raise some taxes” in order to cut the federal deficit while supporting Social Security and Medicare. “When I introduce my budget, you’ll see that it’s going to invest in America, lower health costs, and protect and strengthen Social Security and Medicare while cutting the deficit more than $2 trillion over the next 10 years,” Biden claimed. “But, by the way, I want to make it clear I’m going raise some taxes. On Tuesday, FBI Director Chris Wray claimed that the bureau does not engage in policing the truth on social media platforms, despite the fact that the FBI told Twitter and other social media companies to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story.  “The FBI does not, is not in the business of functioning as the truth police,” Wray claimed. “We don’t tell social media companies to censor anything or remove account information. Fox News anchor Bret Baier pushed back on the claim, pointing out information that was confirmed in the release of the Twitter Files. \“I mean, there was an FBI

The latest along these lines is an editorial about the epic battle launched by AT&T and its DirecTV subsidiary against NewsMax.  And yes, full disclosure, I am a NewsMax contributor. As the world knows if paying attention, AT&T pulled NewsMax from its DirecTV cable offerings – making NewsMax the second conservative cable outlet to be silenced by

On Monday, the government of Communist China responded to the news that a U.S. federal agency had concluded that the COVID-19 pandemic most likely resulted from a Chinese lab leak in Wuhan, saying that “certain parties” should stop politicizing the origins of the pandemic.  During a press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said that “origins-tracing” of COVID-19 should be referred back to a March 2021 report published by China and the World Health Organization, which concluded that a lab leak was “extremely unlikely.” The report was particularly controversial over China’s lack of transparency during the research for the
