Border officials encountered more than 176,000 migrants attempting to illegally cross the southern border last month as the illegal immigration crisis that began under President Biden continues.  According to Customs and Border Protection (CBP), 176,205 illegal immigrants were encountered at the southern border in January 2024 – the highest total ever for the month of January.   The figure brings the total number of illegal immigrants encountered at the southern border so far in fiscal year 2024 to 961,537, already more than double the number of encounters during former President Trump’s last year in office.  So far, fiscal year 2024

On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump responded to the news that former U.N.
