House GOP members united early Thursday morning to pass President Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill.” Reps voted mostly along party lines, 215-214-1, with Republican Reps. Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Warren Davidson of Ohio were the only GOP lawmakers to vote “no” on the tax and spending package.
No House Democrats voted for the president’s bill.
The bill was passed just after 7am after almost 48 hours of continuous work.
“It quite literally is again Morning in America,” Johnson said on the House floor shortly after 6 a.m. Thursday.

Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries blasted the bill on the House floor before the vote.
“This bill represents a failed promise. Last year, Donald Trump and House Republicans spent all of their time to lower the high cost of living in the United States of America,” Jeffries said. “We’re now more than 120 days past the inauguration. Costs aren’t going down, they’re going up.”
