A huge win for Trump 2.0…
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Friday that nationwide injunctions issued by lower-court judges “likely exceed” the judicial branch’s constitutional authority, delivering a major boost to President Trump’s push to end birthright citizenship.
The case, Trump v. CASA, Inc., centered on the administration’s challenge to several sweeping lower-court injunctions blocking the president’s Day One order aimed at overturning longstanding constitutional protections.
“[F]ederal courts do not exercise general oversight of the Executive Branch; they resolve cases and controversies consistent with the authority Congress has given them,” conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett wrote for the court’s majority.
“When a court concludes that the Executive Branch has acted unlawfully, the answer is not for the court to exceed its power, too.
“The Government’s applications to partially stay the preliminary injunctions are granted,” Barrett wrote, “but only to the extent that the injunctions are broader than necessary to provide complete relief to each plaintiff with standing to sue.”
Trump celebrated the win on TRUTH Social and during a White House press conference on Friday.

Attorney General Pam Bondi reacted to the ruling — and unloaded on activist judges blocking President Trump’s most popular policy initiatives.
“Americans are finally getting what they voted for. No longer will we have rogue judges striking down President Trump’s policies across the entire nation. No longer,” Bondi said. “Today, in the 6-3 opinion, Justice Barrett correctly holds that the district court lacks authority to enter nationwide or universal injunctions.”
“As the Supreme Court held today, they turned district courts into the imperial judiciary,’ Bondi continued, adding that activist judges have used injunctions to block most of President Trump’s agenda.
“Activist liberal justices have used these injunctions to block virtually all of President Trump’s policies. To put this in perspective, there are 94 federal judicial districts. 5 of those districts throughout this country held 35 of the nationwide injunctions….35 out of the 40 opinions with nationwide injunctions came from five liberal districts in this country. No longer,” Bondi said.
