Dems Stay Silent on Iran When Trump Can’t be Blamed

Clearly Democrats are sympathetic to those living under tyrannical regimes on one condition: they can blame Trump.

Iran has admitted to accidentally shooting down a passenger plane last week leaving odd solidarity in the wake. The United States Democratic leaders have scorned Trump’s actions killing terrorist leader Soleimani, even going so far as to apologize and “mourn” his death. Despite the absolute idiocy to not appear as a united front against Iran, they actually are siding with one of the world’s most dangerous dictators.

Fast forward not even a week, and after the Iranian regime kills a passenger plane full of people, the Democrats remain silent. Meanwhile, in Iran, protestors are taking to the streets for the third day in a row to denounce “Iran’s clerical rulers…after authorities acknowledged shooting down a passenger plane by accident” reported Reuters. President Trump is coming to the defense of the protestors and the citizens of Iran, whereas Democrats can’t seem to chastise those they were profusely apologizing to just days before.

Reports say the Iranian government is violently cracking down on Iranian protestors chanting slogans such as “Clerics get lost!” and signs saying “your lie killed us.” Reuters also reported that “images from the previous two days of protests showed wounded people being carried and pools of blood on the ground. Gunshots could be heard, although the police denied opening fire.” Democrats are having a heck of a time trying to side with the Iranian people while continuing to blame Trump.

Presidential candidate Joe Biden gave it a shot with a statement on Twitter: “Trump’s reckless policies have needlessly endangered our interests in the Middle East. But none of us should be under any illusions about the Iranian regime, and the Iranian people – like all people everywhere – have the right to peaceful protest. The world should support them.”

The infamous “squad” consisting of freshman congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar and Ayanna Pressley have “refrained from speaking about the protests, though Omar had previously expressed support for the Iranian people after U.S. forces carried out the airstrike that killed Soleimani.” Clearly Democrats are sympathetic to those living under tyrannical regimes on one condition: they can blame Trump.
