Trump’s approval rating is hitting historic numbers.
According to CNN senior data analyst Harry Enten, President Donald Trump is currently experiencing “history-making” approval ratings — better than former Republican President Ronald Reagan.
Enten says Trump’s approval is “up like a rocket” from his first term, as he continues to lock down wins on the economy, border security, and more.
“Republicans love Donald Trump the way that Americans love Disney World,” Enten says.
Enten’s polling shows 63% of Republicans “strongly approve” of the job Trump is doing now.
“That is a huge base, and of course it is just part of a Republican base in which about 90% of them overall approve of him, including the somewhat approves as well,” he said.
Enten compared Trump to former presidents five months into their terms across the past 37 years.
“He beats all the other Republicans on the board here, and I was looking back even since Reagan and get this, Donald Trump beat Ronald Reagan when it comes to the strong approved five months in and, of course, Reagan was coming off that high after an assassination attempt,” Enten said.
