President Donald Trump and his new administration wasted no time Monday night in getting to the business of dismissing more than 1,000 Biden Administration appointees.

Trump revealed the house cleaning in a late-night post on TRUTH Social:

“Our first day in the White House is not over yet! My Presidential Personnel Office is actively in the process of identifying and removing over a thousand Presidential Appointees from the previous Administration, who are not aligned with our vision to Make America Great Again.”

“Let this serve as Official Notice of Dismissal for these 4 individuals, with many more, coming soon:

Jose Andres from the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition, Mark Milley from the National Infrastructure Advisory Council, Brian Hook from the Wilson Center for Scholars, and Keisha Lance Bottoms from the President’s Export Council—YOU’RE FIRED!”

From The New York Post:

Among the first to be booted was Milley, who was given a preemptive pardon by Biden just hours before leaving the White House, from the National Infrastructure Advisory Council.

Milley, the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has publicly called Trump a “wannabe dictator.” Trump, on his part, previously suggested Milley should be executed for holding back-channel talks with China.

A portrait of Milley was removed from the Pentagon soon after Trump’s inauguration on Monday.

Trump said he was also dismissing Andres, a renowned Spanish-American chef who was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Biden, from the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition.

Andres, who has long had beef with Trump, was once meant to open a restaurant in Trump’s DC hotel but backed out after the president likened Mexicans to criminals and racists. The pair battled it out in court and eventually settled.

During an impressive run of executive orders Monday, Trump also announced that all federal employees must return to the office for full, five-day weeks.

Both Donald Trump Jr. and Elon Musk shared a clip of Trump signing the order on X.

“Pretending to work while taking money from taxpayers is no longer acceptable,” Musk wrote.

“No more showing up to work one day a month. If you’re going to collect a paycheck from the government, you actually have to show up to work!” Trump Jr. shared, along with the clip.
