According to reports from multiple media outlets, Donald Trump will waste no time signing a flurry of executive actions on border security, energy policy, DEI, and much more.
Fox News border correspondent Bill Melugin previewed actions Trump will take on the border in a lengthy X post on Monday morning. Trump is expected to deploy the military to secure the border as well as eliminate Biden-era parole policies that have allowed dangerous illegal migrants to stay in the country.

EXCLUSIVE: Per Trump admin official, President Trump will sign 10 border-related Executive Orders today, including deployment of US troops to the border under NORTHCOM, immediate termination of Biden’s mass parole programs (CBP One cell phone app & CHNV migrant flights) & much more.
We’ve obtained exclusive details on three of the executive orders.
Order #1: Trump will direct DHS & DOD to finish construction of the border wall & deploy personnel to take operational control of the border. He will order the immediate termination of Biden’s controversial mass humanitarian parole policies & programs, including the CBP One cell phone app, and the CHNV migrant flights program, and he will order catch & release policies to be ended. Trump will also direct DHS and the AG to reinstate the “Remain in Mexico” program.
Order #2: Trump will order US troops to be deployed to the border under U.S. Northern Command (NORTHCOM), & will order the U.S. military to prioritize US borders and territorial integrity in strategic planning for its operations. Trump will direct his SecDef to develop a unified command plan, and the border security mission will be handled by NORTHCOM.
A Trump admin official tells me: “This Executive Order sends a clear message that the United States intends to exercise it’s sovereignty over its land and borders and that the Armed Forces have a role to play in protecting our borders.”
Order #3: Trump will designate international cartels and crime organizations like Tren de Aragua and MS-13 as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) and Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGTs). The order will declare these groups a national security threat and will invoke the International Emergency Economic Powers Act to stop their operations.
With these designations, the federal gov will have more tools to go after them. A FTO designation allows for targeted action against members, including sanctions and financial penalties. It is illegal for anyone to provide support or resources to a FTO, and financial institutions most report those funds to the Treasury.
These are just 3 of 10 border related Executive Orders President Trump will sign today. I’m told he will announce some during his inaugural speech, and others throughout the day, including at the White House.
Trump is also expected to sign an executive order defining a person’s sex as “male or female” — a sharp contrast to the embracing of extreme gender ideologies during the Biden-Harris Administration.
“What we’re doing today is defining that it is the policy of the United States to recognize two sexes: male and female. These are sexes that are not changeable, and they are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality,” an incoming White House official told reporters.
According to The New York Post, the order will prevent people from changing their sex on US passports — which currently allow for holders to choose male, female or “X” — and will attempt to ban medical transition treatment for prisoners. Both new policies are likely to face litigation.
Trump is also expected to sign orders to change the names of “The Gulf of Mexico” to “The Gulf of America” and to revert “Mount Denali” back to “Mount McKinley” — a switch made by former President Barack Obama.
