Biden Uses Offensive Term For Latinos

Joe Biden

Democrat President Joe Biden, who has led an administration that has forced migrant children from Latin American countries  into facilities “akin to jails” for “an average of 120 hours,” nearly double the legal limit, faced backlash on Thursday after using an offensive term to describe Latinos and claiming that Latinos were receiving vaccinations at lower rates because they were being deported.

“It’s awful hard as well to get Latinx vaccinated as well. Why? They’re worried that they’ll be vaccinated and deported,” Biden said after some other offensive statements.

The term “Latinx” is something only 3% of Latinos identify with and the vast majority find offensive. Many believe that the use of the term implies that the Spanish language is fundamentally sexist because Spanish nouns are gendered, being associated with one of the two total genders that exist, masculinity or femininity.
After using the offensive term, Biden suggested that all Latinos were at risk of being deported, which has dissuaded them from getting vaccinated. Biden did not mention how his Vice President Kamala Harris repeatedly
undermined the credibility of COVID-19 vaccines during the final months of the Trump administration.
Biden received backlash online for his comments, with users pointing out the pompous offensiveness of his comments.

The President, unfortunately, has a history of racially offensive remarks, telling black Americans during his presidential campaign, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

The President’s habit of making racially offensive comments was spread to his children, with his son Hunter Biden repeatedly calling his “white attorney the N-word in a pair of bizarre and occasionally lewd text conversations late in 2018 and early 2019,” the New York Post reported.
