Biden’s Quiet Request: ‘Don’t Share That Ukraine Report’

According to a Fox News report, then–Vice President Joe Biden in 2015 told the CIA he would “strongly prefer” that an intelligence report documenting Ukrainian officials’ concerns over his family’s “corrupt” business dealings “not be disseminated” — and it wasn’t.

The revelation comes from newly declassified agency records, heavily redacted, but unmistakable in tone.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe declassified the files, calling them “an example of politicization of intelligence.”

Fox News Digital obtained the materials, uncovered during a review of historical CIA records. A senior agency official told Fox the report was discovered alongside an email showing that Biden “expressed a preference to not share the report.”

Biden’s representatives did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

The declassified email, dated February 10, 2016, carried the subject line “RE: OVP query regarding draft [REDACTED].” It was originally marked “SECRET,” the classification was later struck through.

“Good morning, I just spoke with VP/NSA, and he would strongly prefer the report not/not be disseminated. Thanks for understanding,” the email read — signed by a redacted name, the sender identified only as the “PDB Briefer.”

The report, written in the style of a Presidential Daily Brief, allegedly included intelligence suggesting that Ukrainian officials viewed the Biden family’s business entanglements as “evidence of a double-standard within the United States Government towards matters of corruption and political power.”

The senior CIA official confirmed the request was honored:

“Intelligence officials agreed that, at the time of collection, it would have met the threshold [for dissemination], but based on the Office of the Vice President’s preference, the information was never shared outside of the CIA.”

The agency later verified that Biden’s request had indeed been granted — and that the intelligence report “had not been disseminated.”
