On Tuesday morning, Joe Scarborough turned preacher at the MSNBC desk. With a raised eyebrow and a touch of exasperation, the Morning Joe host warned Republicans that the tools of censorship cut both ways.
Joe made the comments while discussing Jimmy Kimmel’s return after a brief hiatus due to controversial remarks made about Charlie Kirk’s assassin.
“What some Republicans did seem to understand is that right now, this is being used against speech that Republicans don’t like — but they aren’t going to be in the White House forever,” Scarborough said. “Some Republicans understood…what we’re doing to them right now, they will do to us!”
Then, almost sighing, he added, “This is shortsighted. This makes no sense.”
Conservative users on X pounced, posting the clip as if to remind Scarborough that Democrats, under President Joe Biden, had already run the playbook — with deplatforming, shadow bans, and the suppression of conservative speech.
The charge: the very censorship Scarborough warned against had already been carried out by his own side.

And as if on cue, Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan delivered his own flourish online.
“Due to our oversight efforts, GOOGLE commits to offer ALL creators previously kicked off YouTube due to political speech violations to return to the platform,” Jordan wrote on X, pointing to a concession from Big Tech. He added that YouTube itself admitted the Biden Administration’s pressure was “unacceptable and wrong.”
YouTube also:

-Confirms that the Biden Admin wanted Americans censored for speech that did not violate YouTube’s policies

Two voices, two warnings — one from a cable anchor sounding the alarm, another from a Congressman declaring victory. Together they told the same story: speech once muzzled will find its way back, and censorship is a game that sooner or later turns on its players.
